TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph
Up to $175,000 (depending on level) Our client is looking for a System Administrator to join their prime contract in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring the reliability and security of infrastructure and associated processes. This position requires hands-on experience with system administration across UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments, as well as expertise in monitoring and resolving issues for client/server, storage, network, and mobile devices. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee daily IT system operations, including configuration management, system maintenance, and compliance. • Provide Tier 1 through Tier 3 support, diagnosing and resolving technical issues for users. • Manage user accounts, including creation, modification, and removal. • Ensure compliance with system security controls and conduct periodic vulnerability scans. • Apply IAVA security patches and document patching status. • Optimize system performance, conduct capacity planning, and implement system enhancements. • Support system escalations, communicate status updates to agency management, and assist with hardware troubleshooting. • Configure and maintain UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems, ensuring system integrity and reliability. • Collaborate with ISSO and ISO to implement security measures and comply with Identity & Access Control Management (ICAM) policies. • Assist with Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) and security authorization tasks. • Utilize knowledge of mission islands, Trusted Thin Client, and enhanced VDI solutions (e.g., remote GPU and memory scaling). Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or four additional years of experience in place of a degree). • 10+ years of experience as a System Administrator in similar environments. • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification and Computing Environment (CE) Certification (Microsoft OS, CentOS/Red Hat OS). • 4+ years of experience with IT Service Management (ITSM). • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required. • Experience with Desktop & Enclave Services, mission islands, Trusted Thin Client, and enhanced VDI is preferred.
