Position Description

Epic Special Education Staffing is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for contract School Sign Language Interpreter for the school year.

  • Location: Ringgold, GA
  • Duration: Immediately - May 29, 2024
  • Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
  • Full or Part Time: Full Time
  • Schedule: 40 hours/week
  • Grade/Age Levels: Pre-K, Elementary School, High School
  • Caseload description: They have 4 students in need; 1 student that is in full inclusion; 1 High School student that is in full inclusion; 1 4th grade girl that is not able to lip read inclusion class; 1 Pre-school student with Cochlear Implants that keeps pulling them out.

    • Hourly pay is based on national averages and will vary based on location, experience, qualifications and local or travel positions.

The minimum qualifications for a SLI:

  • 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Sign Language Interpreter within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
  • Valid Certificate/Credential in Sign Language Interpreter or in process in the state of practice
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
