We are a team-based collaborative community ambulatory practice, with locations in Fullerton, Anaheim, Buena Park, and Orange. We believe that all should have access to high quality health care, regardless of ability to pay. We are seeking a full-time bilingual (Spanish/English) Patient Care Supervisor RN. Essential Functions: This leadership role ensures the function and the flow of patient care adheres to our core values of excellence, dignity, justice, and compassion. Overseeing our VFC/VCA programs and working with multiple service lines (general and family practice, OB/GYN, pediatrics, podiatry, dermatology) as well as collaborating with other departments such as social workers, case managers, community health workers, dentists, optometry, and beyond, this role is pivotal for setting the tone and ensuring standard work is conducted, as well as triaging and de-escalating patient concerns as they arise. The person in the role must have compassion for and understanding of chronically underserved patients who present with multiple concerns, and respond to issues in a timely, compliant, quality, and patient-centered manner. The RN Patient Care Supervisor can also inspire and support Medical Assistants, LVNs, and work effectively with medical providers, other leaders, and resolve issues with accountability, efficiency, effectiveness, and poise. Requirements Education: Certificate of completion from an accredited school of nursing for registered nursing. License/ Certifications: Valid California Registered Nurse license. Provider level basic life support (BLS) from AHA approved program. Experience: 4 years of Registered Nurse experience. 2 years in a lead/ supervisory capacity. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated interpersonal/cultural sensitivity to work with a diverse and underserved populations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to follow HIPPA compliant processes and record keeping Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare databases and applications Ability to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding health care Must be proactive in identifying concerns/ problem solving. Must demonstrate ability to follow-through on assignments. Must take initiative to facilitate change. Demonstrates the ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish fluently without use of an interpreter. Salary Description 79,000 - 110,000
