Job Description
Responsibilities:

• Enter and process all orders accurately, according to the department specifications. Obtain all qualifying documentation specific to the orders being processed.

• Answer phones according to MedCare Equipment Companies, phone scripting. Speak clearly and provide excellent customer service. Document and distribute information obtained from patient appropriately.

• The customer service associate will communicate effectively with referral sources daily, in order to meet the needs of their patients.

• The customer service associate will be able to communicate the estimated associated costs to the patient after verification of the patient's insurance.

• Understand and practice the rules regarding patient confidentiality, HIPPA and compliance, and safety. Adhere to all state and federally mandated standards regarding confidentiality and patient rights.

• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• One year experience in the Healthcare field, preferably in home care or durable medical equipment.

• Must possess strong communication skills.

• Must be organized and detail oriented.

• Basic Math and Keyboard Proficiency. Functional skills on a PC.

• HS Diploma or GED
