Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business goals.
Serve as a key advisor to senior management on workforce planning, organizational development, and employee relations.
Talent Acquisition and Retention:
Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
Create and execute retention strategies that foster employee engagement and reduce turnover.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
Act as a liaison between management and employees, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of issues.
Promote a positive and inclusive work environment, aligned with company values and cultural expectations.
Compliance and Policies:
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as industry regulations specific to food manufacturing.
Regularly update and enforce company policies and procedures.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and implement programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
HR Operations:
Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and other HR operational functions.
Monitor HR metrics and generate data-driven insights for decision-making.
Safety and Health:
Collaborate with plant management to ensure workplace safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
Drive initiatives that enhance employee well-being and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in the food manufacturing industry.
Skills and Competencies:
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.
Deep understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with manufacturing operational tools and metrics is a plus.
