Bilingual Client Navigator

You are an organized and compassionate Client Navigator dedicated to supporting community members and connecting them to vital resources and services. You are skilled in providing a positive and dignified experience while managing multiple tasks. What you will be doing:
  • Assess community needs and connect individuals to appropriate resources using internal systems.
  • Respond to inquiries via web, email, phone, and in-person, providing clear and accurate information about program offerings and eligibility.
  • Maintain accurate records and data in the central intake system, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Write objective, respectful case notes and track outcomes related to service utilization.
  • Schedule appointments, send reminders, and promote organizational events such as workshops and orientations.
  • Support the coordination of external referrals to community services.
  • Participate in community outreach efforts, assisting with events and promotions.
  • Provide backup support for front-desk operations, including managing queues and maintaining a welcoming space.
  • Contribute to the creation of client-facing content, both online and in print.
  • Offer translation support as needed, ensuring clear communication.
  • Assist in organizing and recruiting participants for events, focus groups, and leadership opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the organization's mission and operations.
What you bring:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a client-facing role, such as case management or client assistance.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on empathy and clarity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with intake software.
  • A commitment to social justice, equity, and the mission of supporting community well-being.
  • Collaborative, with a strong ability to work within teams and across departments.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • A deep understanding of equity, inclusion, and diversity and how they influence the organization's work.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
