What You'll Do
The Accounts Receivable Clerk's role will be responsible for maintaining the customer AR balance, researching, and resolving chargebacks, providing customer analysis. Provide support to the AR team.
  • Prepare the invoice register, review invoices for accuracy and send invoices to customers and clients
  • Responsible for daily cash for pre-paid cash accounts
  • Process payments and reach out to customers for payments on past due invoices
  • Assisting AR Manager on releasing pending orders for internal and external customers
  • Assist AR Manager with charging credit card customers.
  • Assist with reviewing/researching customer chargebacks and create credit memos on approved chargebacks.
  • Ensure all customer accounts are reconciled at least monthly
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers
  • Support AR Manager on daily duties and other duties may be assigned in accordance with company needs.

What you'll need
  • 2+ years hands on AR/chargeback experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel; basic word processing
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
  • Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic
  • Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment
  • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment
  • Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof-reading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers
