Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoice creation, tracking payments, and resolving discrepancies. This role requires an individual with an exceptional ability to focus on details, multitask, and maintain precise records.

What you will do
  • Generate and issue invoices with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Track and record all payments and transactions
  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and irregularities
  • Maintain and update customer files, including contact information, billing details, and other relevant data
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide customer service regarding billing issues, payment arrangements, and related inquiries
  • Prepare regular reports and summaries of billing activities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
  • Additional Month-End Responsibilities:
    • Participate in month-end closing activities, including preparing and posting journal entries.
    • Assist with the preparation of monthly account reconciliations and financial statements.
    • Analyze and report on variances and adjustments made during the month-end process.
    • Coordinate with various teams to gather and verify financial information for month-end reporting.
    • Ensure all month-end activities are completed accurately and within the established deadlines.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Proven experience as an AR/Billing Specialist or similar role
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Google Sheets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • $50-60k Actual salaries will vary based on various factors such as education, experience, training, scope, etc. The salary noted is just one component of our total compensation package.
