Position Summary:
- Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with 0-3 years of experience to support a high-profile construction project.
- The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks, a foundational accounting background, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- MRI software knowledge is a plus.
Key Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable invoices accurately and promptly.
- Ensure timely vendor payments and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Assist in maintaining organized financial records for the ongoing construction project.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to support overall project financial goals.
- Utilize QuickBooks to manage and track project expenses effectively.
- Leverage knowledge of MRI software, if applicable, to enhance reporting and analysis.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred (CPA not required).
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
- Knowledge of MRI software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Work Environment: - This is an onsite role requiring attendance 3 days a week, with an 8-hour workday.
