About The Role & Team

The Finance team here at Webull plays a critical role in driving our company's success. This collaborative, hardworking, and fun team operates downstream from every product, getting deep exposure to the company's operations and performance. As we prepare for our public listing on Nasdaq through a SPAC transaction, we are growing rapidly and are excited to expand our U.S. Finance team.

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our world-class Finance team-someone who is highly collaborative and eager to enhance our close-knit team culture. The right fit thrives in a team-first environment, values collaboration, and is excited to grow with us during this exciting period of expansion. Reporting to our Chief Financial Officer of Americas, the Accounts Payable Specialist will focus on invoice management, reconciliation, and play a crucial role in driving Webull's continued growth.

In This Role, You Will

  • Review and approve vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile vender statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist with the month-end closing process, including reconciling accounts, booking closing entries, and analyzing fluctuations.
  • Support tax and regulatory filings.
  • Monitor effective internal controls.
  • Assist with annual audits.

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-3 years of Accounts Payable or Bookkeeping experience.
  • Knowledge of U.S Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • A self-motivated, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting.
