Collaborate with IEP team members to design, coordinate, and deliver rigorous and appropriate speech therapy to students with disabilities. Conduct speech and language assessments through special education evaluation process. Maintain due process paperwork according to District, State, and Federal guidelines. Communicate frequently with parents, colleagues, students, and administrators through all available means of technology. Establish and maintain high standards for the educational experience of students. Qualifications: Current Minnesota Teaching License required. High level of due process expertise required. Demonstrated ability to facilitate meaningful discourse in IEP meetings. Experience working directly with students in a K-12 setting preferred. Effective task and time management skills. Effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated experience in collaboration and problem-solving. Experience with curriculum, assessment, and accommodation design. Understanding of the role of parent involvement and the ability to collaborate with parents. Ability to use technology as an instructional tool.
